The Hot Dip Galvanizing Foundation was established
in 1988 when there were less than five galvanizing factories in Taiwan.
The galvanizing industry gathered to form the Foundation to promote research
and technology level in the past decade. It came to the time that the industry
has grown to have more than fifteen factories. The industry felt the necessity
of forming an Association and thus the Galvanizing Association of Taiwan
was officially established in 2000. The first president elected is Mr. Robert
Hsiao.
